【WEB用素材】画像データをピクセル単位でトリミングする方法

YouTubeやTwitterのヘッダーやアイコンに画像を設定する際に、イラストレーター等で制作したWEB用の素材ではなく、写真などの画像データを適切なピクセルサイズでアップロードしたい場合はアップロードする画像をトリミング（切り抜き）する必要があります。

 

画像データのトリミングはフォトショップ等の画像編集ソフトを使われることが多いかと思いますが、Windowsに初期搭載されているソフトウェアでも、画像をトリミングしたりの編集をすることが可能です。

 

今回は、Windowsに搭載されているpaint3Dのソフトウェアを使用し、画像データのトリミング方法を解説します。

Windowsに搭載されているpaint3Dは、スタートメニューのソフトウェア一覧で選択することができます。

 

デスクトップにアイコンの表示がない場合は、スタートメニューからプリント3Dを選択し、ソフトウェアを起動させてください。

 

①起動後の画面の開くをクリックし、トリミングする画像データを選択します。初期画面を表示する場合は新規を、コピーしたデータを貼り付けて表示する場合は貼り付けをクリックします。

②トリミングする画像データを開いた後、画面左上部の「トリミング」をクリックします。

③トリミング機能の項目が表示されるので、トリミングするサイズを設定し「完了」をクリックします。

A…トリミングする画像の四隅とその中間にある「〇」をドラックし動かすことで、任意のトリミングサイズに設定することができます。

B…トリミングする画像の元のサイズを基準に、トリミングサイズのフレーミング(比率)を選択できます。

C…幅と高さに任意の数値を入力してサイズを設定することができます。縦横比を固定するにチェックを入れ数値を入力することで、元の画像サイズと同じ比率でトリミングサイズを設定することができます。

 

④画像データのトリミングが完了後、メニューより画像を保存してください。トリミング前の画像に戻したい場合は、右上部の元に戻すをクリックしてください。

まとめ

自身で撮影した写真やダウンロードした画像データの場合は、画像サイズ等が異なるためSNSやブログサイト等に設定する際に表示される部分がずれたりすることがあります。

 

イメージ通りの表示にさせる場合は、設定する媒体に合わせた推奨サイズにトリミングすることが大切です。
